Adfast Rolls Out Across The UK

Adfast, the new net-based artwork delivery system funded by the regional press, will be demonstrated to industry figures at an exhibition this week. Over 7,000 delegates at the Total Publishing exhibition will be able to view the system, which currently holds more than 1,000 registered regional newspapers.
The system was developed by the Newspaper Society to streamline artwork delivery and provide customers with a single point of reference for the regional industry. It allows agencies to transmit artwork to newspaper titles which are registered in the system.
It was one of the initiatives announced earlier this year to improve the way the regional press is planned, sold and administered in order to increase national revenue (see Regional Press To Invest £100,000 In Ad Effectiveness Research).
The system began to roll-out across Britain at the beginning of this month and was launched in Scotland yesterday.
