TV market round-up: August 2019

August was tough month for TV revenues, with only ITV breakfast bucking the year on year decline, according to agency estimates (up by 3.5% to £4.1m).

ITV saw its total revenues slip marginally by -1.5% compared to this time last year, totalling just over £83m, while Channel 4 saw revenues fall -9.3% to £39.6m.

Elsewhere, Total Satellite was down -6.8% year-on-year to £155.3m.
