Tiscali Restructures UK Sales Arm With New Appointments

Internet communications company Tiscali has restructured its UK sales and commercial arm and has appointed Sean Flood to the newly created position of joint sales and commercial director.
Flood, previously business development director at Tiscali, will lead the company’s sales operations and will oversee strategic alliances and acquisition targets in the UK market. He will be joined by Ben Le Feurve, who takes up the position of head of B2B sales and Howard Freeman, who has been appointed as channel partner manager.
Le Feurve, who joins from Worldcom International, will be responsible for driving sales of Tiscali’s business services portfolio and will report directly to Flood. Freeman, who was previously channel manager at security services provider Activis, will work to develop strategic channel alliances for the company’s business services and will report to Tiscali’s partnership’s director Phil Mehrtens.
Commenting on the appointments, Sergio Cellini, CEO of Tiscali UK, said: “The re-alignment of our sales and commercial arms under this new role, and these two new appointments mean Tiscali Business Services can better utilise the wholly owned Tiscali IP Network, by attracting key partners in the channel, and driving sales strategically across the B2B product portfolio.”
Tiscalli, which was launched in July 2001 following the acquisitions of Liberty Surf, World Online and LineOne, claims to the the fourth largest internet service provider in the UK.
