Nationwide funds primetime ‘Green Home’ series on ITV

Nationwide is funding a three-part series of films on ITV  to educate audiences on how to “green-ify” their homes.

The weekly series – Save Money: My Beautiful Green Home – will launch on ITV tonight at 8pm and is timed to coincide with the COP26 conference, with the final episode airing on 1 November.

The series is meant to address perceptions about how people can make sustainable changes to their home. Episodes will be fronted by Good Morning Britain and Lorraine presenter Ranvir Singh and property expert/designer Kunle Barker (pictured, above).

Wavemaker, Nationwide’s media agency, took on the project management and creative and the series was produced by British TV and digital media group Twofour.

The government has committed to cutting carbon emissions by 78% by 2035 but Nationwide has identified that few people know that new and existing homes make up 20% of greenhouse gas emissions.

The ad-funded series will be amplified by short-form content on other ITV channels about sharing advice on how to make your home greener, presented by This Morning‘s  “gardening guru” Daisy Payne .

Bhavit Chandrani, ITV’s director digital & creative partnerships, said: “Advertiser funded programming is a great way for us to work with brands and Save Money: My Beautiful Green Home is a fantastic example of us partnering with Nationwide and Wavemaker to bring key messaging to our viewers around how they can make their homes greener.”
