Emap Teams With Disney For Finding Nemo Promotion

Emap has secured a deal with Buena Vista International and Disney to promote the new animated film, Finding Nemo, across its entire portfolio of radio stations, in a deal worth £1 million.

The activity will run across Emap’s range of radio brands, which includes Kiss, Magic, the Big City network, Friday night Kiss, The Hits and digital station, One Nation.

The on-air promotion for the eagerly awaited movie will offer listeners the chance to win a holiday of a lifetime to the great barrier reef and tickets to the exclusive Finding Nemo film premiere in London’s West End.

The activity, which begins tomorrow, will see Emap branding appear on £1 million worth of Disney advertising materials.

Commenting on the deal, Denise Parkinson, head of film at Emap Advertising, said: “This is the icing on the cake for the very long and creative partnership Emap and Buena Vista have shared over the years.”

Lee Jury, senior marketing manager at Buena Vista international, added: “We hope that Finding Nemo will be one of the biggest movies of the year in the UK and to achieve this we must ensure that the film is communicated to a very broad demographic. Working across Emap’s portfolio of stations enables us to reach not only the family market for the film but the all important regular cinema going 15 to 34 year old audience.”
