Founded in 2011, Captify claims to be the “largest holder of on-site search data outside the walled gardens”. It provides real-time audience and insight data on search via its Search Intelligence solution, which helps to inform digital campaign strategy.

Wolfson left Hearst in July 2023 after more than eight years. At the time, a spokesperson for Hearst said Wolfson felt “the time is right for her to seek her next challenge”. Wolfson was shortlisted for Media Owner Leader of the Year in the 2023 Media Leaders Awards.

Before Hearst, Wolfson spent over three years at Interpublic media agency Initiative. Most recently, Wolfson founded a consultancy called SecondLives.

I’m delighted to welcome a leader of Jane’s calibre to Captify,” Welch said: “Jane’s experience from her leadership roles at agencies and publishers, as well as her industry relationships in the UK, make her the ideal leader to drive our international business forward.

Wolfson is involved in a number of volunteer efforts inside and out of the industry. She currently serves as chair of the PPA Next Generation Board, which gives under-30s direct access to senior leaders in publishers. She is also a member of Wacl and sits on the board of Ovarian Cancer Action.
