Eric Fuller has been promoted to managing director of IPC ignite! following Tim Brooks departure earlier this week to the Guardian. He will join the IPC Media board on 18 September and will oversee the IPC ignite! profolio, which includes Nuts, Loaded, NME and Uncut.
Eric has been at IPC since 2000 where he is currently publishing director. Prior to this, he worked at Emap on fashion and consumer titles, and moved to Dennis Publishing, where he launched Maxim and Stuff.
IPC Media chief executive, Sylvia Auton, comments: “I am genuinely delighted that Eric will be joining the board. His contribution to the success of IPC is there for all to see and his knowledge of and experience in the men’s market is second to none.”
Eric adds: “I’m delighted that Sylvia has asked me to lead the team at ignite! I’ve already had the pleasure of publishing all our brands, so I know at first hand the excellence of our teams and the huge respect our portfolio commands. We’re already out-publishing the competition in print and online, and I’ll make it my business to keep that market leadership growing.”
