Penultimate Apprentice Pulls In Over 7.5m Adults

Lucinda The Apprentice pulled in more than 7.5 million adult viewers to the penultimate show, seeing Lucinda being fired by Sir Alan Sugar for being “too zany”.

In a twist he only got rid of one potential apprentice – following advice from his confidants after a series of gruelling interviews – leaving Lee, Alex, Claire and Helene to fight it out in next weeks final.

The programme attracted a peak audience of 7.7 million adult viewers in the all-important last 15 minutes, between 9.45 and 10pm.

Elsewhere, the final instalment of ITV1’s The Great British Body had an 11% audience share – a peak of 2.5 million adult viewers.

Trinny and Susannah managed to convince the great British public to strip off on a Sussex hillside to create a giant sculpture of a man and woman.

Channel 4’s River Cottage Spring attracted an average of 2.3 million adult viewers, while BBC Two’s Coast had 2 million between 9 and 10pm.
