Sofia's Diary Fiver has acquired the rights to online drama, Sofia’s Diary, marking the first time that an online UK-produced show has moved to TV.

Sofia’s Diary is a multi-platform series which recently premiered on the social media network, Bebo.

Director of programmes for Fiver and Five US, Hannah Barnes, said: “Quality programming for 16-24’s is booming on the internet, and our decision to showcase Sofia’s Diary shows our commitment to 16-24’s, which is part of our wider strategy in building a further connection with this group.”

Sofia’s Diary is produced by Campbell Ryan Productions on behalf of Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI).

The UK production of Sofia’s Diary is a joint project between SPTI and BeActive, Produções Interactivas, S.A.
