WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell, speaking at the World Economic Forum in New York, has said that he sees no signs of a recovery in the global economy or advertising market despite the upbeat forecasts of some commentators at the World Forum. “I’ve seen no blue sky or green shoots. Nothing tells me the global economy is improving” he said.
The World Economic Forum held its annual meeting in New York this year, a move from its home in Davos, Switzerland, as a sign of support after the attacks of 11 September.
