The ITC has awarded the local delivery licence for the West Kent area to Eurobell (West Kent) Ltd. Eurobell submitted the higher of the two cash bids received, a sum of £1,600,210.75. Eurobell proposes to start a service during 1995. This is the first local delivery franchise to be advertised and awarded by the ITC. Applications for a second area, Blackpool, have to be in by June.
