Reports that James Murdoch is to quit as BSkyB chief executive in the summer and head to New York to work for News Corp have seen sources close to the Murdoch family deny the rumour.
The Mail On Sunday originally reported that Murdoch will be replaced at Sky by the head of Sky Italia, Tom Mockridge, this summer (see James Murdoch Could Leave BSkyB).
News Corp currently owns a 39% stake in the satellite broadcaster.
