Time Out In New York
The Time Out Group, publishers of London’s weekly listings guide launches its first edition of Time Out New York tomorrow, 27th September, with a 100,000 print run and a major marketing campaign.
Advertising agency, De Vito/Verdi, are launching the new magazine which will hit over 5000 sites across New York’s five boroughs including Manhattan subways and commuter trains. Time Out New York will carry 41 pages of advertising nearly one third of the 132 page launch issue. Major blue chip Advertisers include HMV, The Museum of Modern Art and Irving Plaza.
The new magazine will launch with a staff of over 60 and will be edited by Cyndi Stivers, former deputy editor of Premier. Time Out New York will follow the same format as Time Out and will cover all areas of New York life including art, books, childrens activities, dance, film, food, gay and lesbian life, music, shopping, theatre and television. The magazine will be published every Wednesday and will cost $1.95.
