ITV is set to run a major marketing campaign to promote its new-look national news programmes.

The broadcaster has revamped its news programming with new studio sets, fresh graphics and different opening titles, according to reports.

The new-look is expected to be consistent throughout all ITV news programmes, including the ITV Lunchtime News, ITV Evening News and News at Ten.

ITV and ITN have developed the rebrand with the help of creative agency Bruce Dunlop Associates.

In the last year, ITV has been awarded both a BAFTA and an International Emmy for its news coverage.
