Consortium buys SeeSaw for £10m

Arqiva’s SeeSaw, the online TV service, has been bought by a consortium of investors for more than £10 million.

The consortium includes the Criterion Capital Partners, owners of Bebo, and the former Channel 4 chief executive Michael Jackson.

In May it was said that Arqiva was set to close SeeSaw as they were failing to secure an investment partner or buyer for the online TV and entertainment service.

It is understood that the primary operations will now continue to be located in London and most of the key staff will remain.
