Investment bank Morgan Stanley believes that BSkyB will report around 10,000 new pay television subscribers and 140,000 new high definition customers when it announces its third-quarter financials on Wednesday.
This would take total TV subscribers to 10,260,000, with 4,203,000 subscribers to the Sky Plus HD service.
BSkyB is expected to launch a number of new services in the coming months including its new OTT service, NowTV, before the end of June.
Meanwhile the owner of Formula One motor racing has finalised a line-up of banks to steer a $10bn stock market flotation in Singapore. CVC Capital Partners, which has owned F1 since 2005, has in recent days added Morgan Stanley to jointly lead the listing in Singapore alongside Goldman Sachs and UBS.
