Adwanted UK, parent company of The Media Leader, has restructured its divisional leadership following a period of significant growth, with Greg Grimmer moving from CEO to executive chair. The move marks a planned evolution of the company’s leadership structure.
Grimmer has led Adwanted UK through a successful rebrand and acquisition phase, culminating in record turnover and profit in 2025.
The move sees Grimmer moving into a board-focused role while remaining closely connected to the business.
Steve Scaffardi and Nigel Clarkson now lead the business’ two divisions.
Scaffardi has been global content CEO (events and publishing) since summer last year, with a remit spanning both UK and international markets as Adwanted continues to expand its global content and community business.
Clarkson, who joined from VIOOH in January, leads the software and data division, focused on scaling the company’s technology and insight products across UK and export markets.
In addition to his executive chair responsibilities, Grimmer will continue to work closely with a number of Adwanted’s senior clients.
Grimmer said: “We’ve built strong momentum over the past few years, and 2025 was a record year for the business. With Steve and Nigel now leading our two divisions, we have a structure that allows us to scale further while staying close to our clients and markets.
“My focus as executive chair will be on supporting the team, shaping our long-term strategy and continuing to work with key clients.”
