Maiden Boosts 48-Sheet Coverage

Maiden Outdoor Advertising has increased its 48-sheet coverage, by acquiring the advertising and marketing rights to sites currently held by three smaller contractors. Maiden takes over 220 of M&M’s sites in Liverpool and Birmingham, 89 of Adverite’s sites in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire and 50 of City Outdoor Advertising’s sites in the North East.

This will boost Maiden’s coverage of the Granada region from 1,400 to 1,600 sites and its coverage of the North East from 1,300 to 1,450 sites.

Maiden’s first full year results since its management buyout in 1993 were released this week. Pre-tax profits rose by 88% to £4.3m for the year to December 1994.
