The Independent On Sunday recorded a long-awaited year on year increase in its August-January ’98 ABC figure with sales improving by 1.1%, while the FT performed very well, with a sales increase of 11%. It was again the tabloid market which saw the biggest falls, with both Mirror titles experiencing sales drops of over 7% each while the People fell 8.2% to 1.875 million.
