Southern Newspapers Appoints New Chief Executive

Regional publisher Southern Newspapers has appointed John Dux as its new chief executive. Dux will join the group on 6 April when James Sexton, chief executive for the last seven years, steps down. Sexton is to remain as a non-executive director.

Dux was previously managing director of News International after which he became chief executive of Mohamed Al Fayed’s Liberty Publishing and Media.
