WPP Group has announced the acquisition of Smith and Jones Communications Company Ltd., a UK-based agency specialising in high technology industries. Smith and Jones will join WPP’s Specialist Communications Group and front WPP’s planned formation of a worldwide network focusing on the field of high technology.
Smith and Jones’ current clients include Hitachi, Motorola and Sony for which it offers communications including advertising, PR and direct marketing.
