Paragon Launch 3 New Computing Titles

Paragon Publishing is sending three new computing magazines to the printers. They will join their current computing magazines; CD-ROM Series, CD-ROM Games, PC Power Platinum, CD-ROM Games Gold, Internet Today, Windows Plus, II Shareware Gold, III Edutainment Gold, Net User and Iv PC Office.

Nintendo 64 Magazine is the first of the new launches to go on sale. The one hundred page, bi-monthly will hit the news-stands on February 20 with a cover price of £3.95. This title will concentrate on anything and everything to do with Nintendo. There will be a full history of Nintendo and an explanation of the machine and its capabilities. Each issues will include playing guides, reviews and game previews.

The first issue of Total PC goes on sale on March 13 with a cover price of £4.99. The monthly will have a cover-mounted CD-ROM with each issue. Total PC aims to be the complete family guide to personal computing. Each issue will cover a different topic by way of hardware, software reviews, buying information and essential tutorials. There will be features on leisure, business and education. Reviews, tutorials and features will show users from any background how to get the best out of their computer. The average reader is expected to be male, between 20-50 years of age and within the ABC range.

Windows Plus Directory is a new quarterly reference guide for Windows. With a £4.99 cover price it is estimated to be on sale March 20. The title will offer the user tutorials, help, practical solutions, reviews and buying advice. The reader profile is the same as that for Total PC.

Each of these new titles is to have a print run of 50,000.
