The Domestic News and Affairs market completely bucked the downward consumer magazine trend, with every title posting a YoY increase, with the market up 5.4% YoY and up 0.5% PoP.
Private Eye added almost 20,000 copies (up 9.6% YoY), while Dennis Publishing’s The Week increased its circulation by nearly 8,000 copies. Earlier today, The Week, 2012’s winner of ‘Consumer Magazine of the Year’ at the PPA Awards, announced a distribution partnership with Raconteur Media.
The Business and Finance titles had a mixed period, with Business Life performing best, up 13.6% YoY and 6.6% PoP, but the overall market was down 0.3% YoY.
