talkSPORT has today announced that Sony Gold winning radio presenter Colin Murray will be joining the station.
From Monday 12 August Murray will present between 10am and 1pm every weekday accompanied by guests from the world of sport and beyond.
Murray will be joining talkSPORT’s team of sports journalists and former sportsmen including Alan Brazil, Danny Kelly, Richard Keys and Stan Collymore amongst others.
“Colin Murray is a hugely talented sports broadcaster who brings further experience and creativity to our fantastic line-up,” said Programme Director Liam Fisher.
“Our investment in sports rights and presenters continues to prove a winning combination and Colin’s addition comes at an exciting time following unparalleled exclusive British & Irish Lions coverage and the return of the Barclays Premier League next month.”
Colin Murray added: “I’m truly excited about creating this programme, and I hope it will become the morning ‘go to’ for UK sports fans. I will be joined by fascinating and knowledgeable guests every day offering up different opinions on issues and topics that you want to hear about throughout the week.”
Colin Murray started his radio career at BBC Radio 1 before moving to BBC Radio 5Live and has won four Sony Radio Academy Gold Awards.
