The Guardian and Observer have announced the launch of a new biannual glossy magazine supplement, available for free in this Saturday’s Guardian issue.
The Fashion is set to be an ‘engaging, smart and fun’ fusion of luxury style with both humorous and thoughtful comment – focusing on a ‘broader’ view of fashion, according to the magazine’s editor Alice Fisher.
Contributors include Guardian and Observer stylists, alongside other key figures in the industry, such as Saint Laurent’s Hedi Slimane.
The news comes as London’s infamous Fashion Week kicks off and popular glossy Grazia announced its largest ever number of advertising pages across a month.
Alongside the announcement, publishers Bauer Media also said they would launch #Grazia360 – a magazine that will focus on one designer for each fashion week in London, Milan and Paris.
The multi-platform campaign will showcase exclusive interviews, behind the scenes footage and social media takeovers from a range of designers.
“We have always ensured we are bold and brave and this record-breaking month of advertising proves that we continue to offer innovative advertising solutions to brands, including our ‘Big Fashion Issue’, which will provide the best in-depth fashion advice and content,” said Susannah Frankel, fashion director, Grazia.
“We’re pleased to be providing another great opportunity for advertisers to ensure they can connect with their target audience and then with our #Grazia360 campaign, our readers will get an exclusive insight into each of the fashion weeks.”
