Future Publishing Launches Practical Web Pages Magazine
Future publishing is launching a new bimonthly title called Practical Web Pages Project Guides at the end of this month.
The guides, which are targeted at web-users with an interest in web building, will be A4 sized with 100 pages covering tutorials and examples of simple web building. The first issue of the magazine, which will cost £5.99, will be covermounted with a CD providing demos and PDF tutorials.
ABC results for the six month period ending in June 2002 brought mixed news for Future publishing’s computer titles. Once again titles attached to newer consoles benefited at the expense of those relating to older ones. Playstation 2 magazine experienced a 137% rise in circulation to 195,293, while the older Official Playstation magazine saw a 44.1% year on year decline to 74,383 (see ABC Jan – Jun 2002 Computer, Internet And Gaming Magazines).
