Mega Profile Creates New Sales Director Role

Giant poster contractor Mega Profile has promoted Brett Marshall to the newly created position of sales director.

Marshall, formerly head of sales, will be involved in planning future strategy and delivering sales across the company’s portfolio of clients. According to Mega Profile’s managing director, Harry Torrance, his promotion reflects the company’s “sales success” over the past year and signals the “rapid growth” of the giant poster market.

In his new role, Marshall will also work to attract premium brands, which he argues are becoming increasingly interested in giant poster advertising. He said: “Tactical and topical opportunities have been a rich hunting ground with Adidas using Fort Dunlop during the World Cup, Gossard using our Wimbledon sites during the Wimbledon tennis tournament and Cussons creating a special campaign for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.”

Marshall joined Mega Profile a year ago from CNN and has also worked at Express Newspapers, where he was agency group sales controller and manager of the Sunday Express.

Research carried out by Mega Profile shows that 60% of adults prefer to see giant advertising wraps on city centre buildings undergoing construction than bare scaffolding. The research, which is being used by the giant poster contractor to persuade local governments of the benefits of advertising on building wraps, shows that 65% of consumers find giant posters “eye catching” and “colourful” (see Mega Profile Uses Research To Promote Giant Ad Wraps).
