Translucis To Offer Ibiza Opportunities

Translucis has signed a deal with Ibiza Media which will see advertisers offered the opportunity to target around 1.5 million young adults on holiday with bar and club based advertising screens in the popular clubbing holiday destination’s peak season from May to September.

Sue Aitken, marketing and development director at Translucis said: “Through our consumer research panel Grapevine, we have spent a lot of time and energy getting to know and understand the attitudes and motivations of the 18-24 market. The summer season in Ibiza is an ideal opportunity to catch this audience when they’re out and about, ready to spend money.”

Translucis will sell space on Ibiza Media screens located in six Ibiza club venues, including Amnesia, Privilige, Eden, Es Paradise, El Divino and Space and in 44 bars including Bar M, Mambo and Savannah. Just under 45,000 young people per night are said to visit bars and clubs with Ibiza Media screens, the majority being British 18-24 year olds.

Advertising on Translucis’ plasma screens is programmed centrally and delivered as part of a mix of visual montages, with editorial material tailored to each outlet and links to electronic tills.
