Fenestra has appointed Javier Campos as its chief information officer.
The independent analytics and automation platform will task Campos with leading all technology groups in Fenestra and in particular leveraging his experience in artificial intelligence technologies to maximise outcomes for Fenestra’s international clientele.
Campos has worked as a strategic advisor for Fenestra since 2018, and will now transition to the full executive position. Most recently, Campos has served as general manager and SVP EMEA for Experian’s Data Labs, where he has launched and scaled financial services products in more than 15 countries. He also spent a decade leading technology groups in marketing services companies, including as global chief technology officer of Kantar and chief intelligence officer, EMEA for WPP’s investment arm GroupM.
Campos also recently served as a permanent member of the Bank of England’s Artificial Intelligence Public Private Forum.
“Programmatic technologies have revolutionised media planning and buying and AI will now revolutionise programmatic,” said Fenestra founder and CEO Ashley Mackenzie, who added he was “honoured” to have Campos on board as an executive following years of “invaluable counsel”.
In 2022, Fenestra launched Actus, its automated optimisation platform. Through it, Fenestra connects its proprietary analytics platform to clients’ DSPs and automatically optimises campaign bid prices based on its algorithm’s multidimensional assessment of supply-path performance.
The company says it currently helps optimise 3 billion impressions per month.
Calling Fenestra “an exhilarating place to work”, Campos said the decision to join “was driven by the unique convergence of creativity and opportunity with the company.”
“The team’s innovative spirit coupled with a strong commitment to making advertising efficient resonates deeply with me,” he continued. “Joining a start-up like Fenestra offers a dynamic and agile environment where rapid adaptation to customer needs and market shifts is possible.”
