David Booth Appointed To New Scheduling Position At Flextech

Flextech Logo Flextech Television has announced the appointment of David Booth to the brand-new position of director of network scheduling.

Flextech says Booth’s responsibilities will include maximising the impact of the programming schedule to ensure optimum audience delivery across their portfolio of channels. In addition, he will work closely with Flextech’s in-house Research and Media Planning functions to enhance channel performance and audience retention across the network. Booth will also be expected to ensure the highest level of rigour and accountability in the scheduling function at channel level and across the Flextech portfolio as a whole.

Booth has over nine years television experience, including working at Channel 4 for the last five years where he was head of scheduling and strategy.Prior to his stint at Channel 4, Booth held a number of different roles, including deputy scheduler of C4 and marketing coordinator of Radio 1 and CBBC, senior media planner BBC digital channels and UKTV, and planning and schedule manager BBC THREE and BBC Choice.

Booth will take up the new position this autumn, reporting to Claudia Rosencrantz, director of programming for LIVINGtv, LIVINGtv2 and Ftn, and Jonathan Webb, director of programming for Bravo, Player, Trouble & Challenge.
