Last night’s Champions’ League final drew 7.8 million adults to ITV1 on average, with the game’s audience peaking at 11 million and nearly 50% viewing share shortly after half time.

As the Gunners battled Barca, BBC1 proved ITV1’s only opposition. Danny Wallace’s quiz show School’s Out and drama The Inspector Lynley Mysteries took an average of between 28.6% and 19.2% of the adult viewing share respectively.

Five’s late night film In Hell starring Jean-Claude Van Damme provided the channel with a respectable average of 1.5 million adults, kicking off after the final whistle blew in Paris.
