KBH wins First Great Western contract

A Train KBH Transport Media, the rail outdoor contractor, has increased its business with the First Group by winning the five year onboard advertising contract for First Great Western.

The contract will provide 2000 traincard advertisement panels on 60 trains with 160 carriages running daily into Paddington , reaching an audience of 140,000 passengers a day.

KBH already holds the onboard advertising contracts for First Capital Connect Thameslink and First Capital Connect Great Northern.

KBH will install and upgrade the panels, starting with the suburban services before moving on to the long-distance trains.

The win brings KBH’s total onboard portfolio to 40,000 panels spread across the main commuter routes into London.

Martin Kelway Bamber, commercial director of KBH, said: “This is a vote of confidence from an existing client which complements our existing portfolio and strengthens our dominance of onboard advertising in the South East.”
