Waking The Dead Waking The Dead continued to be a big success for BBC One in the 9pm slot last night, easily grabbing more viewers than ITV1 show The Duchess In Hull.

The crime drama had an average of 6.2 million adults tuned in for its hour long running time.

The Duchess In Hull, over on ITV1, had a peak of 4.9 million adults and an average of 4.7 million throughout its hour long running time.

It followed Fergie around Hull as she tried to get families eating more healthily.

On BBC One at 8.30pm Panorama looked at people on long-term sick benefit and what can be done to help them back in to work.

A peak of 3.2 million adults watched the eye-opening investigation.
