TCC formerly known as The Children’s Channel has launched on the Internet. The launch was held in conjunction with the Cafe Internet last night and saw the stars of the children’s programme, Sweet Valley High, answer questions from around the country on the Internet.
The TCC site, called 24-Seven, has a bright energetic feel with in-yer-face designs and cartoon type characters to guide the surfer through each of the subject pages. User friendly icons adorn each page which have a magazine style format.
Areas covered on the TCC site include fashion, club reviews, gossip, events of interest, presenters profiles, games reviews, sport, and listings of TCC programmes. Each month there is a ‘rough guide to’ – this month tackles kissing with some advice for boys – “remember this is not a race; imagine you are swimming – its a gentle breast stroke not a fast crawl”. It is a fun site which should attract kids of different ages and reflects the energy of the channel.
