BT has today added Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2 to its high definition TV line-up, taking its YouView HD portfolio to 26 channels.
The new channels will be available as part of BT’s HD Extra bolt on, which costs £3 a month and offers HD versions of most channels from BT’s Entertainment pack, plus BT Sport 1, 2 and ESPN.
“Our new HD line-up offers viewers even more of their favourite channels in fantastic HD quality,” said Alex Green, director of TV for BT. “This is just the latest in a series of new content deals we are offering on BT TV.”
