YouView adds new iPlayer and BBC Connected Red Button

YouView has added a new BBC iPlayer and Connected Red Button service to its line-up, giving customers access to a range of new content from the BBC.

The refreshed iPlayer will have a “simpler, cleaner” home screen, offer new, exclusive content – including Doctor Who Extra – and allow customers to access programmes by series, event or theme.

The addition of the BBC’s Connected Red Button service will give customers access to iPlayer, sports and news apps from BBC TV channels, sport video highlights, match reports and live scores, and a location-tailored weather forecast.
