Flextech Television Sales Gains Independence

Flextech Television Sales has launched as an independent business and will now be known as ids – interactive digital sales.
ids managing director Mark Howe said that the launch would expand the scale and reach of the group’s sales proposition, therefore adding value for customers. “By establishing ourselves as an independent company we will reap the benefits of our uniquely convergent position.” he added.
ids represents, among others, UK cable and satellite channels including UK Gold, LivingTV, UK Style and Bravo, associated websites, the interactive digital TV platform for the UK’s cable network and Telewest’s broadband ISP, Blueyonder. In the last eighteen months new contracts gained include the UK launch of Extreme Sports and Premium TV’s 78 football websites.
The launch of ids will be supported by a trade marketing campaign, including London underground sites, trade press and online. A website, providing information for advertisers and agencies, has been created for the new business by MediaTel Interactive.
