Dalziel And Pascoe Deliver Double Drubbing To ITV

Dalziel And Pascoe BBC One’s police drama Dalziel and Pascoe thwarted ITV’s attempt at prime time victory for a second successive night yesterday, with the programme’s average adult audience of 6.1 million more than doubling that of ITV’s A Good Murder.

The ITV show delivered a disappointing 3 million on average for its concluding episode, dipping by 1.2 million on the opening show, aired on Monday night (see ITV Drama Arrested By Dalziel And Pascoe).

Elsewhere, the final episode of Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares on Channel 4 also succeeded in topping ITV’s crime drama, drawing 3.6 million adults on average, as the hot-tempered chef tackled his trickiest challenge to date.

Five’s largest audiences of the evening came with its continued broadcast of the CSI franchise, with a double bill netting 2.2 million and 2.4 million adult viewers on average.
