Bonekickers Ends On A High

BBC One The last in the series of BBC One’s Bonekickers pulled in nearly 4.5 million peak viewers last night, with a 19% audience share between 9pm and 10pm.

Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire triumphed again with over 4 million peak viewers, gaining just 3% less of the audience share than BBC One during the hour-long slot.

ITV1’s Trinny and Susannah managed just over 2 million viewers at the same time, with a 9% audience share.

However, ITV1 peaked with the most viewers all evening when more than 6 million people tuned in to watch Emmerdale between 7pm and 8pm.

BBC One took the lead throughout the day, mostly due to its Olympics 2008 coverage, followed by the Weakest Link and BBC News, while its review of the Olympics: Games Today at 7pm picked up more than 4.8 million peak viewers.

Channel 4 stole the show in the last 30 minutes of its highlights from the Big Brother house, attracting more than 3.4 million viewers between 10.30pm and 11pm.
