Bartlett To Replace Airey At ITV

Lee Bartlett is to replace Dawn Airey as ITV’s managing director of global content.

Bartlett will be responsible for overseeing ITV plc’s UK and international production and distribution businesses, including ITV productions.

Bartlett joined ITV Global Content as chief operating officer for the division at the start of April this year and has been acting as interim managing director since 29 April 2008.

He will report to ITV plc chief operating officer, John Cresswell.

Cresswell said: “The appointment of Lee Bartlett on a permanent basis really does put the ‘global’ into global content. To meet the objectives of the turnaround plan and deliver 360 degree value to our content properties, we need executives with proven experience of the international market.

“I am delighted that Lee will be taking up the position, following a thorough executive search process.”
