Videology, the video advertising solutions platform, has appointed Rhys McLachlan to the newly created position of commercial development director – reporting into Ryan Jamboretz, managing director EMEA and global chief development officer.
McLachlan will be based in London and will help lead client services and help agencies and their advertiser clients manage the expansion of video advertising from PC to mobile, tablet and other devices. He will also help the platform’s expansion across Europe throughout the remainder of 2011 and into 2012.
McLachlan joins Videology after an eight-year tenure at MediaCom, where he was managing partner, futures & implementation.
“Rhys has unsurpassed insight into the emerging, multi-screen marketplace, and by extension, how marketers must adjust their media strategies to capitalise on these changes,” said Jamboretz. “His contributions to Videology will be instrumental to our continued growth, as we seek to demonstrate and maximise the value that we bring to agencies and their clients within the increasingly integrated, data-driven video space.”
