Capital has retained its position at the top of the London chart after a healthy 14.9% YoY increase in reach (up 3.4% QoQ) to almost 2.3 million listeners.
However, Heart and Magic have swapped places in second and third position (yet again!). Magic 105.4 has jumped into second place following a positive 8.7% QoQ and 5.7% YoY rise in reach to 2.2 million listeners.
Heart London, meanwhile, saw its reach fall -4.7% QoQ to 1.9 million listeners. With no change at number four, Kiss 100 FM has a weekly reach of just under 1.9 million listeners following a 10% QoQ and 2.9% YoY increase.
Total Absolute Radio (London) and Absolute Radio London also had an impressive quarter – up 21.1% and 7.2% YoY respectively. Additionally, LBC News 1152 enjoyed both quarterly and yearly increases.
Choice FM saw its reach slip during Q4 (down -3.4%) – but posted a YoY increase of 4.2%.
Some London stations had a particularly weak quarter, recording both quarterly and yearly declines, including Smooth Radio London, XFM London, Premier Christian Radio and Kismat Radio 1035.
