Future’s Games division has announced the launch of a brand extension of its Official UK Playstation 2 Magazine. Official UK Playstation 2 Tips will be published monthly, targeting “all dedicated PS2 gamers”.
The 132 magazine will contain tips, cheats and guides on all the major releases for the gaming console. Each edition will be covermounted with five free cheat cards for readers to keep in their DVD game cases.
Future had previously found success in publishing the only official magazine for the first Playstation model. In the July-December 2001 ABC figures, Official UK Playstation 2 Magazine saw a 53.8% year on year increase in circulation, rising to more than 125,000.
The first issue of the new title will go on sale on 5 July, priced at £3.99.
