Millions Tune In To Shocking Size Zero Show

Louise Redknapp On ITV1 last night, the shocking truth about size zero models was revealed when Louise Redknapp went on a strict diet to see if she could make her frame even smaller.

The Truth About Size Zero, on for an hour and a half from 9pm, attracted a peak audience of 5.4 million adult viewers, a 26.2% share, and an average of 4.9 million adults across its running time.

Channel 4 put up a fight though, with the second episode of the new series of Grand Designs bringing in a peak of 4.7 million adults.

Last night’s episode followed Alex and Cheryl Reay as they attempted to repair their fire damaged thatched cottage, and an average of 4.4 million adults watched them spend £250,000 trying to do so.

BBC One’s slick law drama, New Street Law, wasn’t a big hit with viewers though, managing an average figure of just three million adults in its 9pm slot.

Meanwhile, also on at 9pm, the BBC Two political drama Party Animals polled less than a million viewers across its hour-long running time, with an average of 929,000 adults tuning in.

Dragon’s Den on at 8pm, brought in an average of 3.1 million adults to BBC Two.
