LBC 1152 and News Direct 97.3 have recorded audience increases of 30% across some day parts as a result of the General Election, according to a tracking survey carried out by Hallett Arendt. According to Nigel Reeve, managing director of LBC and News Direct, there has also been a decline in some areas of music radio’s audience, with Radio’s One and Four showing drops in the London area.
