Film And TV Week Launches Next Week
Film & TV Week , the new listings magazine from the IPC stable, will hit the newsstands next Tuesday, 14 January. The new publication is hoping to cash in on increased interest in film viewing. There will be emphasis on in-depth film coverage. The title will carry listings for terrestrial, cable and satellite channels.
The magazine has a £1.1 million marketing budget and is being targeted at ABC1 readers between 20 and 44. It will try to challenge Radio Times‘ position as the most upmarket listings title. Radio Times is, however, increasing its film coverage by eight pages to coincide with this launch.
Editor in Chief, Peter Genower, claims that, “Film and TV Week will have humour, honesty and a sharp cutting edge, this magazine gives you all the info on all your movie options.”
Future Publishing’s new entry into the sector, Total Film, is out today – a review of the first issue will appear on newsline on Monday.
