Ad Expenditure On The Up

The Advertising Association has forecast that UK advertising expenditure will rise by 5% ,on constant prices, during 1997. The AA also predicts that ad expenditure for 1996 will reach £11.73bn.

Job vacancies have reached their highest in 20 years and classified advertising should benefit accordingly. Print revenue should profit greatly from the classified advertising boom and will probably grow faster than TV revenue. Radio, however, is expected to be the fastest growing medium.
