Christine Walker, Chief Executive of Zenith Media, has announced that she is leaving the UK’s largest media buying company. Graham Duff, who is currently joint managing director, is taking over her post. No firm date has yet been set for the hand-over.
It is not yet clear what Walker’s future plans are though among the many rumours circulating is that she could be heading for Ogilvy & Mather. This is no doubt prompted by the long-running speculation that WPP is intending to merge JWT’s media department and O&M’s media dependent The Network – an operation which Walker could be brought in to run. O&M would not comment on the speculation.
