Virgin Media has announced that they expect to sign up their one millionth TiVo customer this week as uptake of their broadband also continues to grow.
The announcement comes with the release of the company’s first half results, with chief executive Neil Berkett putting owing some of the success to the quality of their superfast broadband.
The second quarter of 2012 saw the company sign up 291,000 new customers for the next generation service, bringing the total to 938,8000 at the end of June. This means that 25% of their total TV base in now using the American set top box.
Virgin Media’s total TV base is now made up of 3,767,700 subscribers.
