C5 To Set Up Direct Marketing Outfit
Channel 5 will be setting up a direct marketing outfit to offer advertisers through-the-line campaigns using the database it created for its retuning programme. Kevin Coyne has been appointed as head of customer services and will also join the channel’s in-house sales team to provide its advertisers with consumer information from the retuning database.
The channel will also be setting up a call response mechanism which will enable viewer interaction with programmes.
